Nemching’s journey began in Bukpi Village, where she was born and raised as the middle child among three siblings. Her family worked as daily wage earners and cultivators, struggling to make ends meet. Despite financial hardships, she studied up to Class 8 in her village school before helping her parents earn for the family.
In 2017, Nemching came to Lamka in search of better opportunities. That same year, LAINAT Ministry offered her a free tailoring course, giving her the chance to learn valuable skills and build a new future.
After getting married in 2019, Nemching became a mother of three children. Today, her tailoring skills help her earn an income and support her family. Through hard work and determination, she has become financially independent and continues to build a better life for her children.
Nemching’s story is a reminder that with opportunity, support, and perseverance, lives can be transformed and hope can grow even in difficult circumstances.
