Muani Tombing is the Founder and Director of Lainat Ministry. She holds a Master of Theology in Pastoral Theology and Counselling from the South Asia Institute of Advanced Christian Studies (SAIACS), Bangalore, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Counselling Psychology from Christian Medical College (CMC), Vellore.
Before establishing Lainat Ministry, Muani served with organizations such as Rhema for Asia, Andhra Pradesh, and The Refuge Foundation, Bangalore where she worked closely with orphans and vulnerable children.
In 2015, Muani made the pivotal decision to return to her hometown to serve her own community with a special focus on orphans, widows and marginalized families in rural settings. This led to the founding of Lainat Ministry which has since impacted many lives through its various initiatives and projects.
Muani also contributes significantly to the upliftment of the society by serving as a motivational speaker, trainer and resource person in schools, churches, and multiple organizations on topics such as mental well-being, parenting, youth empowerment etc. Additionally, she is a practicing counsellor, helping individuals experiencing trauma and mental health related issues.
Mung, who grew up as an orphan, understands firsthand the challenges and needs of vulnerable children. Now a father of two sons, he brings over nine years of experience in financial administration, internal control, and record management.
Since 2016, he has served as Finance Manager at Lainat Ministry, overseeing all financial operations, including FCRA compliance and statutory accounts. His personal journey gives depth to his commitment to service and responsible stewardship. He ensures the transparent and accountable management of resources entrusted to the ministry for the effective implementation of its programs, projects and initiatives supporting the well-being of children.
Ciang Sian Nem Kim serves as the Communication Manager at Lainat Ministry. She holds a Bachelor of Theology from Grace Bible College (GBC), Churachandpur.
Before joining Lainat Ministry, Ciang Sian Nem Kim worked as an assistant teacher and also gained experience in the retail sector, where she developed strong interpersonal and communication skills.
